These are medium fidelity design explorations for a device management system used in a retail environment business.
Process
I initially held a few stakeholder interview sessions to help gather requirements for the project. Due to time and the company wanting to save on production cost the MVP is a very simple dashboard that would need to display the actionable information with minimal clicks. It would be used by workers in a call center in lower light conditions, so we decided to go with a dark them for the UI.
The desktop app would need to display:
- Device ID information
- Location
- Error Information
- Ratio of error types
